Jessica's Bonnet

 

"Jessica is a beautiful child and we assured her countless numbers of times that on her first day of school she would indeed be the prettiest girl in her kindergarten class. She tried various outfits and hair styles preceding September First. Early on the morning of that memorable day we went to wake her; This painting depicts what we found. I suppose she figured that gilding the Lily wasnt such a bad idea after all."
