A Brief Moment

In the junkyard, at the back fence of our property, stood several old abandoned cars and trucks that hadn’t run in generations. Therese old rusted forgotten hulks no longer interested the adults in our family but for us kids, they became a marvelous playground; us kids and a beautiful monarch butterfly that on that warm summer morning, seemed to take a fancy to my little brother Seth.
